The History of the Carolesaurus
Yes, this is really what happened! Are you sitting comfortably?
When working in a busy IT Support office, you overhear conversations, both on the phone and in person.
In the case of IT, these conversations are usually quite technical in their nature.
However, in the office I worked in, the language used was different.
As I started to hear these conversations, I noted down some of the terminology used, as it made me chuckle.
Here’s an idea of an example conversation:
“We have just had a call from the customer, who has bought a new piece of software to use in their business. Is the software severable, so everyone can use it?”
or
“The customer has just called through with a problem on their computer, I have checked and they are Teamviewerable, so you can connect on straight away to fix it!”
The list of terms grew as time progressed, and I felt that I had to create a directory of the terms with their use cases.
The Carolesaurus was also created with the inventor’s knowledge as well.
